Busters (버스터즈) is currently a five-member girl group under Marbling E&M. They officially debuted on November 27th, 2017, with the song Dream On. They were originally a project group for the show "Idol Ranger Power Busters"; however, it never ended up airing. They have experienced many changes in the member lineup.
They are the main characters of the webtoon "Guardian Busters Transition to the Second World", which is based on the Idol Rangers concept. They are also part of the collab group "Mybling", consisting of Busters' members Takara, Jieun, and Minji, as well as Pink Fantasy members Arang & Harin, and Mydoll trainee Heesun.
Fandom Name: Beotchu (버츄), which is Busters + I love you in Korean
2017 - You've probably seen the copy/pasta before of "they reserved 20 seats at isac and sold 11! but they were fake fans trying to get in for other groups :(". This is Busters real story, and the threat of disbandment was real at the time. It was a super scary time for beotchu, and it's not something funny to use as a joke. For a complete explanation of the situation, you can read about it here.
2019 - Minjung left the group for personal reasons in January.
2019 - Kim Minji's parents pulled her out of the group in November.
2019 - Chaeyeon appeared to be hit by a fellow cast member & verbally abused by another in the show, "Tok Tok Boni Hani". He was removed from the show.
2019 - During a sponsored live stream for a dessert company, the members were dressed in very short outfits, and the whole situation looked similar to a hostess bar. The members were extremely uncomfortable.
2020 - Hyungseo left the group to go to college in March.
2020 - Jisoo, Chaeyeon, and Yeseo left the group due to "unfortunate incidents", and the fact that being idols was no longer enjoyable to them.
2021 - Minmin joined the group in May while they were prepping for redebut, however, she proceeded to leave in October of the same year.
